TRS has a fresh new look

On Oct. 17, 2024, TRS was upgraded to enhance the user experience and accessibility while maintaining the same timesheet processes. Training guides are available at TRS Training.

Tip: When you log in to TRS, the wordmark at the top of the screen may appear oversized. Clearing the cache on your web browser should resolve this issue.

How to login

  1. Navigate to the TRS website: http://trs.ucdavis.edu
  2. You will use your campus user ID and Kerberos passphrase to log in. If you cannot remember your passphrase, please visit the Campus Computing Accounts page to reset it.

Supported browsers

TRS is compatible across multiple computer operating systems/platforms. We recommend the latest available version (or the previous version to the latest version) of one of the following Internet browsers:

Internet browsers not listed above may not work properly with TRS.


Logging out

To log out, simply click the logout link, located in the upper right corner. In order to ensure that someone else does not access the system with your credentials, be sure that you close out of ALL Internet windows.

TRS will timeout after approximately 90 minutes of inactivity.


Hours of availability

TRS is normally available Monday–Friday from 7 a.m.–7 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m.–6 p.m., and Sunday noon--6 p.m.

  • TRS is often available outside of these hours as well, although there may be times (especially on Sundays) where TRS may be down for scheduled maintenance.
  • For Departmental Time Administrator (DTA) processing, the hours of availability are the same as those listed above.
