Introductory Webinar and User Testing to Prepare for ECC

Research administrators and principal investigators are encouraged to attend a Nov. 12 webinar to prepare for salary certification in ECC, or Employee Compensation Compliance. User testing will begin soon, as ECC is expected to launch by the end of November 2026.

Research administrators and principal investigators can learn what the transition means for them at the Welcome to ECC webinar on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 3 p.m., hosted by Contracts and Grants Accounting.  

The webinar will include an overview of the ECC application and resources available to guide users through the new certification process for federally sponsored projects and awards. Attendees can ask questions during a live Q&A.

User testing preparations continue

The testing environment is being configured for user acceptance testing. Campus volunteers will complete tasks in ECC and document their experiences to help identify issues before go-live.

CGA will contact volunteers directly when testing dates and next steps are available.
