Per Diem

Per diem is the amount of money allotted for meals and/or lodging for each day of OCONUS travel. The University follows the U.S. federal per diem rates. Please be aware that campus departments may uniformly establish lower daily per diem rates in an effort to save money.

Always refer to the U.S. Department of State's website to find Foreign Per Diem Rates by Location.

How to Obtain Per Diem

→ Withdraw cash from the Travel card at an ATM or US Bank, then reconcile in AggieTravel.

→ Pay for meals & incidentals out of pocket and submit an AggieTravel reimbursement report after the trip.

→ Use the Travel card for Meals & Lodging directly.
