Logging In/Operating Hours

The website to access TRS is http://trs.ucdavis.edu.

  • You will use your campus user ID and Kerberos passphrase to log in. If you cannot remember your passphrase, please visit the Campus Computing Accounts page to reset it.

Supported Browsers

TRS is compatible across multiple computer operating systems/platforms. We recommend the latest available version (or the previous version to the latest version) of one of the following Internet browsers:

Internet browsers not listed above may not work properly with TRS.

TRS will timeout after approximately 90 minutes of inactivity.

Logging Out

To log out, simply click the logout link, located in the upper right corner. In order to ensure that someone else does not access the system with your credentials, be sure that you close out of ALL Internet windows.

Hours of Availability

TRS is normally available Monday through Friday from 7AM to 7PM, and Saturday from 7AM to 6PM.

  • TRS is often available outside of these hours as well, although there may be times (especially on Sundays) where TRS may be down for scheduled maintenance.
  • For Departmental Time Administrator (DTA) processing, the hours of availability are the same as those listed above, as these are the same hours as PPS. The DTA screens interface directly with PPS for the direct entry of TRS timesheet data into the PPS, thus requiring that PPS be available to "accept" the data from TRS.
