Dell Computer Bulk Purchasing Program

The University of California has negotiated special discounts with Dell Computers from May 25th, 2017 through May 24th, 2018.  This program will assist departments that purchase computers from Dell, and especially those IT departments that buy administrative computers "in bulk."  NOTE: New bulk pricing options may be available after May 24th, 2018 as well.  Updates will be made to this page as information becomes available.

How deep are the discounts?

These savings are on average 34% lower than the previously discounted UC rate and are possible because of the collaboration of the IT community at UC Davis to create campus wide standards, which enables us as a university to coordinate the annual buying of our administrative computers (faculty can opt-in if they choose).

What products are eligible?

The 5 standard computer administrative models in the Dell punch-out site in AggieBuy reflect the discounted rate.

Are there standard computer models for administrative staff?
